As WhatsApp Team continues to improve the app, They’re excited to share many new features coming to WhatsApp that we think will make conversations more productive and enjoyable.
Polls have been updated.
The WhatsApp Team is delivering three new poll updates to help groups gather information and make choices together.
Create single-vote polls: For times you require a decisive response, we’re giving poll developers the option to allow individuals to vote only once. When creating a poll, simply uncheck the ‘allow multiple answers’ box.
Look for polls in your chats: It’s not always possible to respond to a poll right away, and it can be difficult to find a poll within the chat later. Messages can now be filtered by polls, just like photographs, videos, or links. Press ‘Search’ and then ‘Polls’ on the ‘Chats’ screen to see a list of all results.
Keep track of poll results: You will now receive notifications when people vote on your polls, making it easier to keep track of responses.
Captions for forwarding
Sharing photos on WhatsApp is one of the most convenient ways to keep friends and family up to date on your life, and the ability to forward media allows you to rapidly reshare images from one group of connections to another. However, you may not always have time to offer context before someone responds.
When forwarding media with a caption, you can now keep, delete, or totally rewrite it to provide more information when exchanging photographs between chats. When you forward photographs and videos, you may also add a caption.
Sharing Captioned Documents
The documents you share, including photographs or videos, may necessitate some explanation. Whether you’re emailing a newspaper story or a professional document, you may now add a caption before sharing.
These upgrades have begun to be sent to users worldwide and will be available to everyone in the coming weeks.
