WhatsApp released a new feature for Windows desktop earlier this year, and it is now providing the same better experience to Mac users.
For the first time, you can make group calls from your Mac using the new WhatsApp software for Mac, connecting with up to 8 people on video calls and up to 32 people on audio conversations. You may now join a group call after it has begun, view your call history, and select whether or not to get incoming call notifications even while the app is closed.
The program has been revamped to be more user-friendly for Mac users, allowing you to get more done faster when using WhatsApp on a wide screen. You may now effortlessly transfer files by dragging and dropping them into a conversation and exploring more of your chat history.
WhatsApp for Mac, like WhatsApp for any other device, uses end-to-end encryption to keep your personal messages and calls secret across devices. Try out the new app for yourself; it’s available now on WhatsApp.com and will soon be accessible on the App Store.
